Introducing: Baby Nathaniel!
After seeing some seriously cute baby pictures pop up in my newsfeed, I was SO excited that Brooke and Josiah wanted me to document their little peanut! Brooke and I have actually known each other since grade school so you can imagine how excited I was to see her as a momma :)
It was incredibly powerful to see Brooke + Josiah embrace the newest member of their family! These two have definitely been through a lot lately (moving out of state AND baby Nathaniel decided to make his debut several weeks early) but Josiah’s gentle strength and Brooke’s tender care were perfectly complimentary, and a joy to photograph!
One of my favorite parts of lifestyle sessions is the opportunity to capture, the real, in-between moments that represent that particular time in your life. This session was filled to the brim with baby smirks, soft kisses and left me feeling overwhelmed (in a good way) with the love between this brand new Mom and Dad! Nathaniel was SO well-behaved too! As you’ll soon see, I couldn’t get enough of his beautiful baby blues + inquisitive, squishy faces :)
Since we held the session at Brooke’s grandparent’s home, we were able to sneak in a few photos with them too! Anytime I can get multiple generations in front of my camera, sign me up!
Thank you so much for letting me document this amazing time in your lives, Brooke + Josiah, I can’t wait to watch Nathaniel grow!!
